hellisonI am having One Of Those Days it seems, nothing is going quite right. So I am going to WHINE.
Walking with one crutch was all going very well, but it I have done something wrong because now the muscles all down the opposite side in my back/side are screaming in agony with every step. And movement. And breath.
It's less painful if I hobble along with no crutches, but I can only go about 5 steps until that gives out/gets painful too, so it's back to two crutches for now. Hopefully only for a day or so, because I don't want to have to take both to London (makes carrying a bag tricky for a start). Physio on thursday so I'll see what she says.
So this morning, get up, go OW OW FUCK OW find 2nd crutch and painkillers. Go to dentist to find I got the time wrong, missed the appointment and now have to pay for that one AND go back next week.
Got to work to find someone had parked in the disabled spot because I was in late, so they had to be found and made to move their car, got pissed off, and gave out to the guys on reception who then also got pissed off, while I was biting my tongue to stop yelling 'I'm terribly sorry if my being UNABLE TO WALK is inconveniecing you in any way you miserable fucking cowbag'.
Am getting VERY fed up with crutches now. Want to have a huge tantrum and throw them out - or preferrably THROUGH - the window. But then I'd be stuck here. Or have to crawl a lot. Which is even less fun. BAH.
On the plus side, have just taken some nurofen plus, so the codine is making it all go away.
