Ah codine

I had stuff to post. It was going to be interesting and exciting (possibly). Or just stuff. But I walked round to WHSmith at lunchtime to buy 2008 stuff for my filofax (get me!) so I don't lose track of various appointments and weekends and stuff.
This took ALL of lunchtime, just to get there and back. Then leg was all hurty. So took painkillers. Alas didn't check WHICh painkillers. So instead of 2 normal nurofen, took Nurofen Plus. With all codine in. It's all gone fuzzy now.

Have tea to try and keep awake. But my head is just a nice fluffy haze going lalalalala. So. DISTRACT ME! So I don't just sit staring blankly at the walls. Ask me something so I look busy (answers may not make sense). Can't even go home cos can't drive til this wears off a bit.

Hopefully no-one will come along and want to ask work type questions.

ETA to illustrate why I need distracted, the following conversation just occured with a collegue, while discussing the weather

Me - its meant to get really bad, gales, thunder, lightening
J - the way you love me is frightening?
Me - yes, because it would involve knives
J. - ... I'm going home now.

ps thesme_01 I told him about your powars of weathernerdness and he says he has lost the little respect he never had for you. Then he gave me a Look and ran away.

He's gone home now! And I am a bit more alert. ish.

Woo big scary weather! That's all a bit mad. Will stay safely tucked up on teh sofa once i get home. I wonder if it'll be bad enough to get me out of work tomorrow ;p

So far, physio and hospital appointments, Febmeet and possibly a weekend with Madame Thesme in feb. too.

The eurovisioning was fun! Tho perhaps with less food this time ;p

When is it this year? It was May last year wasn't it? I think i have a couple of weddings in May, not entirely sure (see, this is why i need the diary ;p), but if that weekend is free, we should definitely do it again! Wherever is handier ;) Aerlingus have started doing cheap flights from belfast/heathrow, tho not sure how long they'll stay cheap!


And it's not death you'd be risking. You'd probably WANT death really ;p
