hellisonWhile still in the throes of pro-activity and MUST GET FIT yesterday, I managed to get to makro on the way home and purchase an exercise bike! All they had left were ex display models which were already assembled, which meant it was quite a feat getting the thing into the car, then out of the car and into the house. But it was achieved, for i was Determined.
Giving a brief try just proved how unfit I have become.
Also, ankle was achy, not just due to shopping and shifting of bike, but also because had to stop suddenly at one point on the way home, and left foot automatically went into Emergency Stop Mode and tried to stamp down on a non-existant clutch. That was Not Fun.
Of course, the guy I had to stop for had no way of knowing I wasn't screaming *at* him, just... screaming, but then maybe he won't get in my way next time!
But I have Excercise Equipment now, so all I need is the willpower to keep using it! I'm sure there's some around the house somewhere. Possibly near the scales in the bathroom ;p
Oh. And work have blocked Facebook. WAILY etc. On the plus side, I finally know what it's for! According to the big BANNED SITE page, it is classified as 'personals and dating'. I think I've been missing something there ;p

She had never seen an exercise bike quite like it in all her years of nunning. Surely the saddle was unusually knobbly, she thought. But what Mother Superior ordered, Hollisen would do, and her instruction for the day had been to assemble the exercise bike and test it out.
"Be sure and have a good, hard ride, Sister," she had said, before turning back to her knitting. And a good nun is an obedient nun. Nonetheless, she winced a little as the nodules nudged her nethers.
