Monday ramblings...

hellisonMorning (ish) all, how were your various weekends?
Mine was v. lazy with much rugby, mudding, listening to the neighbours sing Paul Weller at 5am and hanging out with family.
Finally managed last night to get about 8 straight hours sleep. Sadly this ran from 1.30-9.30am so was still late for work.
On the way in, heard yet another charming example of our politicians acting like children fighting over the playground - the shinners want to hold something to celebrate that IRA woman who got shot by the SAS. For international women's day WTF?
So naturally Donaldson the Weasel now wants to hold an SAS tribute. in the same place
SO. Here follows my message to my elected representatives on this contentious issue.
CAN YOU ALL PLEASE JUST GROW THE FUCK UP AND ACTUALLY TRY RUNNING THE FUCKING PLACE FOR A CHANGE? Instead of acting like petty fucking school kids doing their best to wind each other up amd wasting time and a lot of money playing stupid fucking games with each other.
And again. Internation Woman's Day? Get the fuck off my side with your fucking rabid bomber woman and maybe try doing something to help the women still alive and NOT BLOWING PEOPLE UP that you're supposed to be fucking representing. Decent maternity services perhaps. Actual childcare. That poverty malarky still hanging around. Disparity in wages. Streets not being terribly safe to walk about in after dark. Little things like that maybe.

Moar ranting - from the sinn fein woman "The real thing about this and the honest thing about this is that Jeffrey Donaldson and unionists are saying that we have the audacity to pay tribute to our dead and they're trying to tell us when and where we can do it.
"In effect they're creating a hierarchy of victims."
W.T.F.? how about the dead people and other victims your rabid bomber woman created, or was planning to create? Are you really suggesting SHE deserves tribute just like them?? Yet again I am left wondering how this hypocrisy can come out of their mouths with their branes exploding.
There IS a fucking heirarchy of victims. it goes
'innocent people' and 'people trying to protect/save/help innocent people'
then there is a biiiiig biiig gap.
and THEN we get to
'murdering fuckers who murder the innocent people and are stupid enough to get caught and/or killed in teh process'
Oh god. Has she got me AGREEING with Donaldson and the DUP? Arggh. I feel dirty :/

A few other things caught my eye while looking for that story.
Dustin for Eurovision! YAY! Dana is not amused Tho mostly apparently cos she's worried he'll WIN.
That footballer guy with the broken leg. Made the mistake of flicking thro one of the red tops this morning in coffee place and AAAIIEEEEEE graphic pictures of the SHATTERING AAARRGHHHH. Do Not Want! Saturday was lying around then getting up and having brunch and then cleaning house and then ruggah and then C came and dinner and booze and bed.
