So, finally, an update on the weekend!

It all started off very civilised,

shambelina and Dan arrived Thurs. morning, followed by

walklikeacat later on, which led to a very relaxed evening with cider and refined conversation (cos everyone was knackered).
Friday went much the same way, there was a plan to go out, but it turned out to be too much effort, so instead i made dinner and we chilled out with yet more cider and wine.

Saturday involved quite a bit of effort, on everyone else's part - particularly Dan who did a mountain of washing up AND conquered the light fitting that has defeated me for seven years! Much cleaning was done, then tescos for LOTS of shopping. And Macro for LOTS of booze.
Then a couple of hours to collapse and recover enough energy for the night ahead...

I got all dressed up

Then,

thesme_01 arrived

Frighteningly, she interacted with Other Guests

thipe was last to arrive, so we dressed him up as a pirate

And then, CAKE of HORROR appeared

And if this wasn't terrifying enough,

hellison_1 showed up! Despite NOT BEING INVITED

accompanied by David Tiquelehoff

I was OVERCOME by the horror of it all, despite

gnillot finding it hilarious

Thankfully THe horror stopped, and the singstar began. I say 'thankfully' because i can't actually remember much from this point on and have no idea how bad the singing was

There was, apparently ROCKING OUT going on

But it is all very vague. There was much singing and then most people left by about 5, but there was still punch and cider and MOAR DRINKING til about half 7.

The next day was, not surprisingly, one of much pain and suffering

but, it was worth it ;)

All in all, it was a fabulous weekend, despite the amount of pain on Sunday, and the puma attack on Dan (damm them!).
I had a ball and got some very Special Presents - and am awed by the amount of thought that went into the plotting the horror and presents and so on. Go Team Horror!

I've also had some lovely presents from NORMAL people (well, relatively normal ;p) so thanks for all of those as well.
It was definitely a weekend to remember. At least, up to the point where the punch kicked in and I don't remember the rest

heh yes. They put a LOT of effort into the horror end of things - particularly the cake and Hellison-1's guest appearance! The singstar went down well too, once a suitable amount of punch had been drunk, possibly because you could duet, so no-one had to face singing on their own ;p

It appears that the wig turned me into the spawn of the devil ... I did ponder what on earth I was doing ... but I think pretending to ride a horse ;)

The singstar was very special, particularly jim and thipe ... I was listening till about 5 ;)

If I'd been capable of any coherent thought, I'd have told you to sleep in my room, tho I doubt that was much better. I do pity the neighbours too ;p

I think you were indeed riding a horse. Possibly on a Speshul Saddle...

Hehe it was cool - I was reading anyway - just decided to go up for stomach reasons - I needed a lie down ;)

I think you would have heard it in the sekret room ;)

However, I will never again be listening to duran duran ;)

Oh dear, one of the only things I actually remember ~~howling~~ singing is 'hungry like the wooooooooolf' ;p

SO glad no-one videoed me!

Indeed, i was much saddened by lack of camera battery - i have a few from the start of the party and lots of Belfast ;)

Woes and Waily! I have a lot of pictures of

thesme_01, and various people in The Wig, but then there's a big gap. Possibly due to lots of singing ;)

(tho, now you mention it, have a very vague memory of you shouting TONGUE.)

Ah. Well. That's all right then. Tho now you have made me think about Kiwi Tongue. I may need to go have a lie down.

Also, I think that hellison-1 had such a good time at the party that she's going to write a post all about it!!!
