hellisonHmm. Turns out that while I can manage getting the train & walking TO work, the tricky part is doing it in again reverse to get home.
Well. I did manage it, but it was Not Fun and led plunging foot in icy water and extra codine when I made it home. Shall perhaps save further train adventures for evenings when I can either definitely get a lift home (this was the plan today, but fell through) or there is pub after work and thus no walking ;p
On the plus side, on the way in spotted that the antique opal pendant I used to drool over last year is still in teh shop window AND has dropped over a grand in price. Of course the fact that it's now 4k instead of 5 really doesn't make it any more affordable, but maybe if I wait another couple of years...

_unhurt_, who flashed her neoprene knees at me! Then suggested pub tomorrow if the weather holds (if C.Wharf too packed, bob stewarts could be an option?), which sounds very tempting indeed.
If anyone needs me, I'll be on the sofa, with head in codine land.

my knees were most attractive! sorry about the limping pain. weather forecast for tomorrow v nice (and have directors meeting all afternoon, making the idea of pints after i go to tiso and buy a new jacket that actually breathes (also some socks) quite appealing! can you round up hell streetians?
