Busy busy busy - tho not working. Sorting out leaving do for J. who has worked here for Nearly As Many Years for Me. Much furtive sneaking about with collection, cards, party foods, presents etc.

Also. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a cheap, tacky, gold carriage clock. Settled for tiny novelty one in the end. Still, have surpassed myself in present buying stakes with model of a BTR-80 for him to build and paint.

Soon, bun party time (have to have a bun party, I think it's some sort of civil-service regulation). Then PUB TIME. For merging with _unhurt_'s birthday party. Tho I cannot drink just yet, for I have to get back home first to hose down thesme_01 before she's fit to be seen in public.
I also have the FEAR that she is going to spring hellison_1 on me, at which point I will be forced to BURNINATE her TO DEATH.

My Friday goes very well! The meeting that was scaring me this morning went swimmingly, and we got the snags list down to a fraction of its former size (and cost)!
Also, a friend's birthday present arrived - a case of Lindemann's Pecheresse peach lager.
Am now writing document to go to suppliers in readiness for sending on Monday :D
