Still no snow here. Just sleet. Bloody sleet. Also due to crappy weather, everyone seems to be driving to work, which lead to having to drive round for HALF AN HOUR before finding a parking space this morning - tho, on the plus side, the Nice Man who was coming out also gave me his ticket, cos he'd paid up til 2 but was leaving early!

So it's not all bad.

Also managed to get to bed before midnight last night, so have had HOURS of lovely sleep and feel almost normal today! Must book flights for febmeet too, before I forget. I am assuming the snow and Travel CHAOS will have left London by then ;p

How are you all surviving out there in the Artic Wastelands?

I am making such disparaging remarks right now! For some reason one of our stations was playing London news last night and I would kill to have such a small amount of snow.

I had lots of snow this morning! Now it is slush and will soon, when the sun goes down, become ice!

Ice is much less fun than snow alas. We still just have sleet :/

Now I have sunshine and some slush and some snow. Tomorrow, I think I will be working :P

On the bright side, I got to read some texts by Illich.

I have food poisoning and thus have been unable to enjoy the snow :(

I went for a 3+ hour walk on Saturday in the baking sun. Got a little burnt on my arms, but not too bad. Then round to a friend's house for a BBQ!

Most landlords here regard insulation as cheating, and central heating is all but unknown..

Ah, you forners and your crazy reverse seasons! Lack of central heating is never good tho.
