(no subject)

Yesterday was *supposed* to be spend either pottering about outside in the garden or pottering about inside sorting out the house, followed by a good few hours at the stables, riding, grooming etc.

Alas all this was thwarted by a combination of the weather (cold, drizzly and miserable}and the advent of Special Lady Time (headache, cramps (incl. leg cramps. Why LEG cramps??) and extreme tiredness/lethargy).
So instead the day was mostly spent on the sofa, with a blankie, chocolate and a stock of ibuprofen. Did get out for a walk to the shop at lunchtime, but it took most of the rest of the afternoon to get warmed up again afterwards. Then went the stables and after the JOY of traipsing through a muddy field in teh rain feeling nauseous, caught horse, fed her and went back home to the sofa to the blankie and drugs. Bah.
But, I thought to myself, at least I didn't have to go to work and tomorrow will be much better!

Today is NOT better. Which I realised when I tried to give the cats rice krispies instead of Iams this morning. And I do have to be in work. Stupid work. Thank god for ibuprofen.

To add to this JOY, I *really* wanted to go see Mark Tomas tomorrow night. Except i couldn't get hold of people on Friday to check they still wanted to go (cinema on my own i can do. Going to a comedy gig on your own just seems like no fun at all).
But, I thought to myself again, I can sort it all out today! Except it is all sold out. And none of them can go anyway.

Today, I will be mostly sulking, muttering about things under my breath, trying very very hard to avoid posting on the mud boards and wishing it was time to go home.
How about you?

Would they prefer Rice Krispies to Iams?

Actually, if i put the milk in too, they probably would ;p

I am so with you about sulking and muttering and trying not to post to mud boards. I somehow don't think posting "Stop being such bloody muppets! Or even better, try to act your age for once!!111!" would be a good idea. Especially not if coming from a theoretically nice and fluffy liaison :p

I can't look at equality again after the 'just get a nanny' post and I actually had to get up and away from the pc after reading philosopher's this morning because the whole 'it wasn't abusive, it was just deliberately offensively patronising, insulting and sexist, and hey, that's just how he is, why all the fuss?' made me so angry.

Fizzy cola, chocolate and crisps for lunch have helped. As has yet more ibuprofen. I think I need pictures of kittens tho...

Best thing I take for cramps: buscopan. Its IBS medication but works as a flat muscle relaxant and it is wonderful
