I have had a very... grown up week so far. I have Tidied, Gardened, done Family Stuff, done Presentations in work and I have *voluntarily* gone to the dentist this morning.

But the most damning evidence of Grownupness so far this week? I BOUGHT pint glasses. Actually PAID for them. In IKEA. Farewell youth!

However I have a feeling the upcoming Road Trip to Orkney with

thesme_01 and

_unhurt will go some way to erasing any claims to maturity and adulthood. Must practice singing the Helpy Song.
Also driving with a clutch again. It'll be fine. FINE FINE FINE.

um, so the weather is going to be a special kind of rainy, where you don't actually see the actual rain, and the sky is a strange blue colour.

It will be chilly though? Is that any good?

no idea how warming my tent is, have only used it in summer and when v. v. drunk. not sure how easy it will be to sleep in (relatively) sober. Is it likely to be windy? Looong day driving followed by trying to put tent up in winds does not appeal ;p
