Moar Mystery Post!

Remember the Interesting and, well, insane Unicorn Book thesme_01 very kindly bought me for your birthday? With the glowing and the horns and the unicorn humming balls. Good times eh?

Well, in today's Mystery Post some Kind and Thoughtful Soul has sent me... Magical Unicorn Oracle Cards! ANd really, I am not making that name up. They are genuinely called Magical Unicorn Oracle Cards

Each one has a lovely picture of a unicorn, often with added cat, and a lovely message to Help You Out and Guide You. We tried them out in work today and they are quite impressive in their accuracy - my favourite was when a coworker asked 'will i get home safely?' and teh cards answered...
"You'll find out in the morning".

Genius eh? SO! Obviously they cards must be put to use! Ask me your question and I will Consult the Cards and report back! Or, just ask for Guidance and the Cards Will Provide!

I have decide to Consult the Cards myself to see if they can give me a hint as to who sent them...
According to the book, while shuffling one should wait for the unicorns to tell you how many cards to pick. They told me TWO.

So...

Card 1. TRY SOMETHING NEW - "You'll only know that you can do something if you try!"

so. Telling me perhaps it is a NEW mystery poster sending these things? or that is just time to try new things! like using the power of UNICORNS to GUIDE Everyone. This one has a picture of a unicorn swimming/surfing with a killer whale and a dolphin...

and

Card 2. WISH UPON A STAR - "Make a wish and expect the very best"
I could never have wished for something as great as this! And yet here it is! Hurrah!

I shall consult the Accompanying Book for further revelations I think. No actual name yet tho ;p

No no, birthday was back in March, when thesme got me the unicorn book and you Someone Mysterious sent me a lovely pony book and a Twilight Movie book!

Not sure now who sent the cards!

Ooh. Maybe I should ASK them!

i think i read quite a few of them as a Chylde, i always liked them ;)

I have Consulted with the Cards and as the Unicorn Voice in my head instructed me to pick 3 cards in my head as I shuffled here are your 3!

Card 1. HELLO AND GOODBYE - "You'll soon see that this change will make things better."

So there will be a change from current conditions!

Card 2. LIGHT - "See the light withing yourself and everyone else"

Brigtening up a bit then.

Card 3. LOVE HEALS FEAR "The power of your love can help bullies and angry people to be less afraid"

This one has a picture of a unicorn and a ... mountain lion/ Cougar. Not sure how it relates to the weather, prehaps a personal Message?

LISTEN TO YOUR TRUE FEELINGS - Don't let others talk you into doing something that you know is wrong.

from the book - "this card means someone might ask you do to something against your better judgement. You might be tempted to give in to please the other person. You might worry if you say no, the other person won't like you anymore... Choose the path that will make you happier in the long run" There is also a bit about consulting with the angels, if you fancy it. Or sitting in a quiet room and seeing what the Inner Voices tell you. Unless they tell you to KILL THEM AAAAALLLL. Presumably ;)

I bought a selection of eyes yesterday to try. Think I'm going to go with the ones with eyelashes. They made me smile the most, even if they're not funny as such.

I did see suitably sized googly eyes, but they're flat backed, and wouldn't be good for a knitted toy. I was hoping, especially as they were in with the pokey eyes :-(
