Lovely Girls!

Sunshine! After weeks of grey miserable rain, there is sun! A bit wasted on a Monday morning, but better than none at all...
Anyway, instead of lengthy ranting about News That Has Annoyed Me eg stupid cardinals ranting about The Eeeeeevil of civil partnerships, or robin Williams apparently asked to play Susan boyle in a movie of her life, which is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where I'd start (tho I nearly put *Robbie* Williams there, which is a whole different level of wrong)... instead I am focussed on th fact that tonight is lovely girls rose of Tralee night on rte; two whole evenings of pretty girls in fancy frocks saying hi to uncle pat in cavan, singing, saying pomes or, best of all, dancing. Dear god let there be dancing.

Pat's siblings really need to find new hobbies if all the girls have the same uncle. Or is Cavan really that small and boring, that there's nothing else to do?
