It is a stunningly beautiful day here! Clear skies sunshine and enough of a light breeze to make sitting out on the patio very pleasant indeed.

Had a great time at the wedding yesterday - again gorgeous weather, everything went according to plan, bride looked lovely, groom looked nervous and both looked really happy. I managed my part (reading) without any disasters, even avoided tipping over bride's train on the way past. There was also wine, dancing and good company, doesn't get much better than that (apart from lack of Imaginary Sven, but I'm sure he'll turn up eventually ;p)

Just a couple, I didn't actally take too many as was far too busy having A Good Time, and most of nonLJ people, and thus probably not of much interest. Anyway -

This morning, there was a suprisingly minor hangover, which a walk on the beach helped to clear

The hotel, the turretty looking part of which is a C16th castle. The tower rooms are awesome, I stayed in one before and the little turrets have been converted into the most amazing showers ever. Towershowers! Also look at that sky; hard to believe it is September!

Then, we retired to the hotel gardens to sit in the sunshine, rehydrating and reading the papers, while Unhurt Looked towards Home, until it was time to go

Now, home again. Still only vaguely hungover (surprisingly, given amount of wine/vodka consumed last night) but very very tired, as not much actual sleeping was done. Have spent the afternoon mostly sitting out in garden enjoy the sun, and managing to get stung by a wasp. Ouch. May go to bed for a bit now, as am finding it hard to keep my eyes open any longer!
