A belated jump on the memewagon

hellisonI did start doing this last week then deleted it by accident half way thro ;p The time since has been occupied by birthday shenannigans and feeling v. groggy and rough which (after a week) turned out to be more due to yet again landing head first off the horse than the b'day shenannigans. Still, nothing vital damaged ;p
Anyway, more b'day funtimes details later, first, MEME, cos it is ages since I did one...

2. How do you style your hair?
Style? It gets washed, it dries. It gets put in a clip. (copied directly from teh hoor, cos that's pretty much exactly what happens to mine. on fancy occasions I leave out the clip).
3. Which do you use more often, the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Neither so much these days as rarely seem to write anything. I do love me some thesaurus tho!
4. What's your occupation?
Officially Archaeologist, in practice data manager, which is a just about as dull as it sounds
5. What are you wearing right now?
Jeans, purple top, boots
6. What's one sneaky thing you like doing?
So many things ;p Cheating in games. Tho so very badly, I always get caught. According my sister, my 5yr old niece has a better poker face than me.
7. What are you thinking about right now?
Bringing horses in, whether I have the energy to go to Pilates tonight, must check out flights for Shambellina's b'day, what time I last took painkillers for stupid horse induced headache
8. Dog person or cat person?
Both, but as am lazy, have a small garden and am rarely in the house, I have cats rather than dogs. And I spend a lot of time wondering why I have cats (usually connected to cat sick or CONSTANT WAILING).
9.Write the first word that comes to mind.
Trapezoidal. It is my favourite word.
10. Does your family know of your fandom/lj/ porn addiction? And if not, how hard to you have to work to keep it from them?
They have no knowledge of LJ, which is GREAT because I can rant there if need be. They're not online much so not really had to work hard. Increasing numbers of them on bloody facebook tho. It is INFESTED with cousins, which is nice in some ways but a pain in others (they report EVERYTHING to Aunts who then report to teh mother).
11. A project you want to finish? Just one? Short term or long term?
Don't really have any projects on the go. Sorting out clothes into new bedroom would probably count. Also books, etc.
12. What are you doing this weekend?
Friday - work, horses, then sofa, poss. with cider/wine. Or just codine.
Sat. lie in, horses, take niece for riding lesson, family stuff, sofa
Sun - horses, something for mother's day (poss. taking the mother shopping, will see), horses, sofa.
13. How are you? Truly?
Tired, with a stiff neck and aching head, tho much less groggy than the last couple of days. Whinging aside, overall, pretty good. Had so much LOVE and Nice Things from people last week, it was truly wonderful ;)
14. What are you doing tomorrow?
I think I answered that above, but, probably going to work, doing v. little work, riding after work (weather permitting) and then retiring to sofa, with tasty ciders or wines to veg in front of crap telly. Much like most nights, only with a bit more cider ;p
15. What are you looking forward to the most?
Seeing people that stupid thwarting CIRCUMSTANCES prevented me seeing over the last week or so as planned. And people not planned as I mostly forgot to plan anything in the first place ;p
16. Last thing you did?
Filled in the census form, a few days late, but it is done.
17. What did you do today?
Went to work, organised leaving do, collection, vouchers etc for leaving employee. Took assorted folks out for lunch (v. nommable lunch too). Back to work, just in time for the traditional civil service bun party for leaving bloke. Did not eat buns. Killed time reading CiF til home time, came home, fed cats, started doing this.
18. What is your dream occupation?
Sleeping? Growing up I always wanted to be an archaeologist, and became one. Nowadays am desk bound doing databases, filing and mapping stuff. Not particularly inspiring (or indeed interesting) but until I can think of something I'd rather do, it'll pass the time.
19. What is your favourite kind of pie?
Never liked pie
