hellisonooh it is BACK. Typical when I have a day off it all dies. Admittedly a day off in which the morning was spent falling asleep in casualty and the afternoon supposedly resting and staying away from computers, but, you know...
So, it turns out, I have Post Concussion Syndrome. Which is pretty much like being concussed only it goes on for longer. Trip to casualty this morning was because I couldn't stay awake and felt generally ill, which Lovely Dr Irwin said to watch out for, so figured I should get checked out. After an hour or so of dozing off in the waiting room (a v. uncomfortable place) saw a v. friendly but v. busy doctor who did some basic checks, introduced me to the concept of PCS and said it'd wear off eventually, probably, and I should just take it easy.
Not sure quite where that leaves me re. time off work etc, but will see how it goes.
ION not much. Weekend was mostly horse and family, took the mother out shopping for the afternoon (and it may have been the 2 50 mile round trips and afternoon of pushing a wheelchair about that led to feeling so shite today, as I don't think that falls under 'taking it easy'), which was lovely and introduced her to the ipad, since we think she might find it easier to get online that way than the laptop. All she really wants to do is order groceries online and talk to the family in canada, and it should work for that. Just have to find out how they work with skype or similar and see...
And that is about it. have had lovely bath and am now abed trying to remember when I last took painkillers, will see how I feel come morning.
Also, really must start posting when NOT suffering from odd medical complaints ;p
