The Great Clearance!

So I am soldiering on with the attic!

This morning, it looked like this -




The path along the Piles there is what I managed to clear yesterday






Note empty boxes. Yesterday, these were full books. So Many Books




There is a sofa bed under that lot somewhere. The box contains books I can part with! Hurrah!!




Every attic should have a ghost. Ghost cats are obviously even better.
Does anyone want a long, thin, brownish hall rug/runner btw? The mother got this for me. My hall is *just* big enough to open the front door without hitting the stairs...



Like any good archaeologist, I have unearthed Ancient and Curious Artefacts!




And now!! TA DA!




One corner conquered and actual floor space revealed! Still have the other Much Stuff to get through, but it's a start. Better get back to it ...

well, that corner is, the boxes and bags of Stuff not yet assigned a place are still piled up at the other end of the room. Getting there tho...
