hellisonARRGGGH I FORGOT ABOUT THE ROSE OF TRALEE!!! Why is the world thwarting me so??
I thought it started tonight, but it was last night, so I have missed a whole night of Lovely Girls. Woe
Tho heh. Currently on the German rose, who is called Saoirse, and appears to be from Cork...

And now New York, Caitlin. Who is actually American. And doesn't like public displays of affection, so the host (who is he? where is Ray Darcy??) is creeping her out by trying to hold her hand.
OOh ooh she's going to dance!! Hurrah! And a slip jig at that! Off come the heels, and she's even hoiking the dress up, excellent form New York!
Dublin Rose... who is a hip hop dancer?? Dress is quite tight tho, so may not get much dancin' from this one. Also first newbridge necklace to go on the WANT list ;p she's getting the Irish in there too
Ahh she's changing her dress to dance. Host offering to go backstage and 'help'. The creep factor is high with this one
And off she goes! she doesn't seem to have changed so much as tucked the dress up into her knickers at the sides ;p She looks ... mental tho.

Ottawa Rose's main story was that she got her finger cut off and sewn back on when she was 3. And plays the harp. Which she does instead of dancing. NEXT
Cork! who is wearing a necklace I own! Good taste Cork (and yes, I do watch in part for the shinies. THey are very pretty). Meh, singing a dull song. SKIP
Edmenton next... who has SPARKLY irish dancing shoes on. SKirt up the oxters and dancing to Taio Cruse. With ARM MOVEMENTS! BURN THE WITCH!
Sunderland Rose next, who does NOT sound like she's from Sunderland, and seems to be wearing a giant black nightie. She is going to teach everyone a dance?

Texas (must skip faster before tonight's lot are back...) actually FROM texas so a point there. And ooh SALSA dancing! very risque. She hasn't even kicked the heels off! EEww creepy host is CREEPY

Kerry! Much cheering and lots of Irish. AND a primary school teacher, always a bonus. Was apparently taught in school by the host. Which is a bit weird. No talent either
Sydney ooh with pictures of her as a young irish dancer, which is hopeful. Very Morticia adams dress tho. WOW. Throwing in a dead uncle too. Sneaky. She LOVES CHILDREN. A self choregraphed dance to aboriginal music she wrote herself. this shoudl be good!
skirt up, Jig shoes on but... not remotely in time to the music. Innovative!
New Zealand. who is from Dublin. And looks like she wandered in from a goth prom. With long drawn out stories about how she used to come down to watch the festival as a child. I suspect no talent for this one. SAD TALES of earthquake. She is getting a LOOOOONG interview. A long DULL interview.

Wexford! She is very very pink, and black. and another Primary School Teacher! No necklace but v. pretty sparkly hairclip thing *takes note* She has a hole in her leg. Ooh ooh and a POME!! first pome so far I think. Aww written by her dad as a Young Man. bound to be points for that

Dubai rose! Dubai?? I don't think Grainne is a native of Dubai ;p and a special . needs teacher, which I think trump primary school. Ah donegal originally! Tho looks a lot like a Corr. Who's actually had a meal or two in the last year. Lovely blue dress too. No talent but a lovely story of rubbing the perth rose's leg in the middle of the night...
Roscomman! (nearly there) very sparkly dress. VERY sparkly. wants to be a doctor. Comes out with a story about how her da once dragged up and won a beauty contest. The da is NOT HAPPY ;p GLARING away and she says 'this is the best moment of my life!' Excellent!
Singing! oh, Valerie? WTF? THIS ISN'T AN IRISH DIRGE!! What is she thinking??? OUch ouch she's had a few too late nights, the voice is definitely going. Poor Roisin.
Queensland (2nd last. hang on in there!) Ooh the bookies favourite. Starts by looking at the crowd and going 'jesus!' good start ;p 2ndry school teacher. Not as good as primary. but, half filipino (and very pretty),asked to speak some and says 'I love hake'... Going to sing. Meh need more dancing!!
