Happy Monday!

I am mostly happy because it is no longer last week anymore ;p Tho I did have a lovely day yesterday, a lie in, a nice long hack out on teh horse on sunny afternoon, then the rest of the afternoon/evening spent watching P&P with [livejournal.com profile] being_here. Which somehow resulted in dinosaurs. In future when things are all a bit shit, I shall FOCUS ON TEH DARCYOSAUR.

Another cheering thing this morning was this - Judge rules swearing at cops not a crime

My favourite bit is this - Peter Smyth, chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, said: “If judges are going to say you can swear at police then everyone is going to start doing it."

They'll ALL BE DOING IT OH NOES. Because up til now, no-one EVER swore at the police. Must restrain urge to run out, find a cop and shout BOLLOCKS at them. Tho, our cops do still have guns, so, maybe not ;p

Today, I will mostly be reading about database interoperability (not purely because it is better than trying the statistics stuff again...). Aren't I the lucky one!
How are YOU doing?

I am fine! Wrecked tired though. Spent the morning drinking tea and eating toast in Rathdrum. Now back in office, avoiding work

The tea and toast sounds great. I started the day with a scone from Avoca. New office ROCKS.

I have been to Aldershot and back, for a couple of meetings. If you've never been there, think Feltham with squaddies...

That would probably help. Chavs in uniforms, somewhat more physically fit, and conditioned to following orders.

*drifts off happily*

Well not I'm not at all sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing! Feltham = BAD v. fit young bodies = GOOD.

tho. squaddies... probably still veering towards bad ;p

The directive states: “The courts do not accept that police officers are caused harassment, alarm or distress by words such as ----, ----, -------, or ------.”

ha, bless, the telegraph is protecting reader's delicate sensibilities too!

The one I've never got is newspapers writing things like "T*day, 16yo Britney got h*r tits out for the l*ds", as if we're somehow less offended by the presence of vowels, rather than the words themselves.

hehe, I meant to add that bit in too, it's hilarious. I may have spent longer than necessary trying to work out which words they were on about ;p

I had the best day yesterday *voles*
