hellisonHectic weekend! I think I just about survived...
Friday, stables after work then off to the pub for Edith's birthday. Tho I was good and didn't drink very much, despite Gavin and his rounds of shots for everyone! Was good fun, met Alice's new man, who seems like a decent sort of chap.
Also Niall appeared very briefly for reasons known only to himself, stayed for one pint then headed off back to cashel (about a 5 hour drive).
Sat., after a very quick shop and search of offie's for Trish's reef, headed to dublin for Coralie's birthday party. Hard to believe she's a year old already! We were all very civilised for a while with lots of food and cake and present opening and so on. Of course after Ruthie took the baby home, things gradually got less civilised, particularly after Manix's mate Dave arrived with a load of coke which the others all seemed to enjoy very much, while I fended off peer pressure and stuck to the cider :p
A lot of the evening is still hazy but we were still dancing round the living room at 8am sunday morning - even trish made it up all night! Should get photos posted later, haven't even looked at them properly myself yet.
Spent most of the day sleeping until I was recovered enough to drive then went on a backroads tour of dublin leaving Dave home and taking Shauna and Graham back to Leixlip, then headed for Leeson St.
We actually managed to get ourselves organised and got to see Team America! It was very very good. I was in absolute fits of laughter most of the way through (even at the bits I could hardly bear to watch :p). Definitely worth it!
Then decided to head off home, rather than stay and have to drive up this morning, made it in about 2hrs from centre of dublin, which is bloody good going. Totally knackered today tho.
I had this odd feeling I had to be in work by 10 today but couldn't remember why. Got here at 10.15 to find it was to get Rhonda's job specs to her before a meeting at 10. However since Stiofan has them and was supposed to find them and phone me/drop them in and didn't I think I can mostly escape blame there.
Also I seem to have lost my phone, I think I might have left it in the taxi back from the cinema last night. If I get a new one today, I shall be looking for phone no.s of people!
