hellison | Clear Blue Skies

It is a beautiful morning, sunshine and blue skies all round. It's still cold, but it's a perfect Spring morning. Tho I'm sure it'll start raining soon enough ;)

Weekend was good,

kryptykfysh arrived and was a very untroublesome house guest, very helpfully polishing off some more of the left over beer to make more room in the fridge, and even offering to make breakfast!

Sat. was spent pottering about the house, cleaning up properly for once and doing bits and pieces of stuff. Watched Dr. Who, which was highly enjoyable, am v. much liking Christopher Ecclestone, tho somewhat less now I know he's quit after just doing this 1 series. Then went off to join

kryptykfysh and friends in the pub. Gavin has sadly thought better of coming along to the hen night as Token Male, despite me pointing out that now we have no stripper and he's let us all down :/

Ended up in the Garrick which I hadn't been in before but was good in that it served strongbow (yay!) and also Rumplemintz (OH NOES). Somehow we managed to be sensible enough to stop after just one of those. Kept meeting people I haven't seen in years and whom I totally failed to recognised at first. Luckily each time the penny dropped just before it became obvious I had no clue who they were :p

Sunday was mostly a Day Of Pain (bloody rumplemintz). Actually managed to wake up in time to rouse

kryptykfysh and thus be vaguely smug (through the haze of PAIN) when

littlebluefish phoned to ensure no planes were missed. Packed himself off in a taxi, as there was no mission of me driving anywhere, and went back to bed. But people kept phoning :/

Eventually resurfaced to go to the stables, but Ziggy, who has an uncanny ability to spot when I'm hungover, was being a cow and refusing to do anything much indoors, so we went for a walk instead. Called over to see the sister and family afterwards, and got fed, which was an unexpected bonus.
Eventually dragged myself home and totally failed to have an early night by joining in on a 'mock trial' game on teh mud, which was entertaining, despite the horror of having to allow Penguin :p

So today, I am mostly very sleepy.
