ps...

Is the mud down? I can not get onto the website. And I was SO looking forward to catching up on all that delicious FROTHING on theives. The Wizards looking to be winning in the froth stakes at first, but the Juan trumped them with some quite stunningly pointless Wrath and FROTH.
It is quite entertaining to see an argument where Milly seemed to be the more rational one :p

It has always been beyond me how people can get so worked up about this shit. Especially anything ANYONE says on teh boards. Still, where would the rest of us find entertainment without it?

I've spent the past five days trying to catch someone on the MUD. She's been logging in; I just keep missing her. Five days! And now I finally have a day where I can actually spend some time logged in (as opposed to stalking her via http://discworld.atuin.net/lpc/secure/finger.c), the MUD's down :)

As is my favourite food blog. And it's raining so I don't want to go out hunting vegetables just yet. So today livejournal is my friend.

Where would we be without LJ?

I reckon that the time I've spent on livejournal since January would probably be enough for me to write another book. Albeit a tiddler and not very well researched :P

It does get complusive :p I have got much worse as work have progressively banned the mud, icq, web mail and many other forms of time-wasting entertainment. The bastards.

ps another book? How many have you written to date then?

[identity profile] malvino.livejournal.com 2005-04-15 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
three, but one never actually got written down in a coherent way, it's just lots of notes hat one day I might put in order.

None of them are good enough to send for publishing either, they're just practice in writing.

[identity profile] hellison.livejournal.com 2005-04-15 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
Three? That's pretty impressive practice. I doubt I would have the patience/concentration to stick to writing long enough to finish even one (cf the nanowrimo thing). I am great at *starting* things, I just get distracted or bored far too easily.

So what do you write about?

[identity profile] malvino.livejournal.com 2005-04-15 09:36 am (UTC)(link)
Shite mostly.

A dead rock star determined to do one more tour of spain, the knights of calatrava, and a local mineral spa kind of freshwater well spiked with mophine by the village council.

um, not all in the same novels, but it'd probably be funnier if they were :)

[identity profile] hellison.livejournal.com 2005-04-15 09:53 am (UTC)(link)
That would be some novel, mabye you *should* write it ;)
