And to cap it all...
First mice then bloody cow-orkers then more work crap theres not point going into because it'll probably all blow over but was annoying all day THEN
I fall off the fucking horse.
You can just tell it's a Monday.
ok thats the drama queening over :p
It wasn't actually a bad fall. More a sort of slow motion roll off, landed on me hip which will be tender tomorrow I'm sure, but no damage done. Wasn't Ziggy's fault either - Jane and her pony Sprite were a good bit ahead of us, cantering around the outdoor arena, Ziggy had put on a spurt to catch up and I was just thinking 'hmm should slow up a bit' when Sprite suddenly bucks like crazy, Jane goes flying off and we have to veer sideways suddenly. I lose my balance (cos I'm still focused on Is Jane Alive) and end up somewhere up Ziggy's neck, she stops dead and I go slowly sliding off and land on me arse.
Jane was ok too, tho probably will be a lot sorer than me tomorrow. Valiently climbed back on, had a few more canters around the arena then went off for a walk down the lane and a run up the hill in the back field, now its finally dry enough to ride in. So all ends well really. And as I had to fall off her sooner or later, its nice that the first one wasn't half as bad as I'd expected - previously I've fallen off much smaller horses, so the bigger drop was worrying.
I have a feeling I should go to bed now tho, before anything else goes wrong.
ps I cannot find the remote. I think the disappearing zombie mouse may have eaten it. Truly, this is a day of WOES
