In then end I just couldn't do it. Couldn't bring myself to vote for the unionist.
I was gearing myself up to it all day, but just before I left go vote, I looked over their leaflets, then checked his website, and I just didn't want to vote for that party and what they stood for.

So I voted Alliance. The local election bit was almost as bad. Nine candidates - 2 sdlp, fair enough, 1 UU, 1 DUP and FIVE sinn fein. THE HORROR. Comes of living on the edge of west belfast I guess :p

Still it is done now, just have to sit back and see what happens. Of course they don't even start counting ours til tomorrow (see how much we matter).

Who cares abaout DIGNITY when they have taken your FREEDOM! Oh, hang on, they can't take that.. erm have you got any blue face paint lying around? If so they must have taken it so your battle cry can be "You can take our face paint! But you'll never take our DIGNITY!"

I *think* if I was running round with blue face paint on, I wouldnt' actually have much dignity to be taken.
So perhaps its all for the best!
