You'll all be very glad to hear I'm sure that the monitor is working better today, I can read teh words without going blind at least, which is good.
No lesson last night after all, Susie has exams this week and next. So went for a hack then popped over a couple of jumps in the field.
Then Dessie (ziggys owner) showed up with a shiny new horse box and is taking her away after next weekend :(
I had thought the plan was to turn her out where we are now for the summer, which would have meant I could still have ridden a couple of nights a week, keep an eye on her, and she wouldn't end up hugely fat and unfit like last summer.
However in the World of Dessie plans mean nothing and he has changed his mind yet again and is taking her 'off out somewhere' at the end of the month. He doesn't even know WHERE yet. And instead of bringing her back at the end of july (again as planned) so we can started getting her fit, he was talking of not til Sept. which will leave us with a mad rush to get her fit for hunting AGAIN.
He's been told over and over that this is not good for her, but as usual turns a deaf ear and does exactly what he wants anyway. Bloody men.
I am sorely tempted to say fuck it and go find a horse of my own and give up this sharing lark altogether; but then god knows what he'll do with her come the Autumn since he doesn't have the time to look after her. And I'd never find another quite like Ziggy anyway ;p
But bleh, enough ranting, time for memey goodness ;p
