Carpet man was supposed to be here TWO HOURS ago.
Still no sign. And while its nice to have another day at home, I really need to do *some* work this week, especially since I'll be off monday too.
Bah.

However, shelves look great with books on, garden is also looking well with pretty flowers and roses and so on (also weeds, must sort that out).

Has anyone any good Anti-Snail tips? The buggers are everywhere, eating my poor plants :(

This might be more for slugs than snails, but BEER!

Bury a container in the ground, so the rim is at group level and put some beer in it. Slugs (and I'm assuming snails) love the stuff, so fall in and drown.

There are worse ways to go :P

Yeah, just cut a beer can in half (after pouring the contents into a glass) pour a little beer back in and bury that, (some kind of top is a good plan, saucer balanced on some stones or something) otherwise it'll fill up with rainwater.
