hellison | A Productive Day!

After an early night last night (finally, a bed and no children) I actually managed to wake up at c.9.30 today in preparation to put the final touches of Operation Try Not To Kill John into action.

Decided to have a bit more of a lie in, until I heard the bin lorry so had to grab clothes quickly and dash down to put the bin out (I always forget).

After breakfast, went into town to complete wedding outfit - 2 nice new skirts for obligatory 'omg which one?' dilemna and crazy orangey befeathered hairband thing. It may not rival the glories of The Birdstrike Hat, but I think

Picked up lovely new bedding for spare room and Visitors, also new pillows (which will become my new pillows hereafter) in Primark. They had the 2 minutes silence when I was in there and it was quite unnerving how quickly the place went from packed noisy shop to complete silence. Moving too tho.

Got sucked into Virgin on the way back to the car and came out with assorted cheap cds, including They Might Be Giants (since the songs are STILL going round in my head) and Labyrinth on Dvd.

After getting home and lunch, clearing and cleaning began once more. Mostly in my room, since all the stuff cleared out of other rooms got dumped in there 'for now'. There is still a significant amount of junk but moving it now is not essential. Got quite a bit cleared up and put away and even managed to ditch some more clothes (am a terrible hoarder). Paul showed up after work to help move the bed into the spare room and then there was much hoovering. Also dusting.

It'll probably need another hoover when we get back sunday night, but I'm not sure what else I can do. Hopefully the supar antihistamines are really supar and all will be well. If nothing else the spare room should be a Safe Haven with its nice new carpet and stuff. Stupid allergies ;p

So now I am going to mud for a bit, then have a nice hot bath and collapse. Don't have to be at the airport til about 12.30 tomorrow so can pack in the morning. I'm sure there is more Neatening of stuff I could be doing but sod that ;p
