books books everywhere...
Feb. 7th, 2006 03:11 pmBrowsing thro Amazon at lunchtime, I was going thro the 'recommendations' bit, mostly weeding out books I already have which they persist in still recommending. With some tho I was having trouble remembering whether or not I actually did own them, or even if I had ever read them (eg some of the later endless series of Krondor ones).
Also I have wanted for a long long time to get some sort of catalogue of all the books together, so the question! Does anyone here use/know of any kind of intarnet or downloadable cataloguing thing?
I've heard of a couple, but the only one I could remember the name of was Bookcrossing, which is more of a list of ones you've gotten rid of - tho may do that too, as I have at least 2 copies of some.
Mind you I have no idea when I'd find TIME to do it, but a few every night (or while at work, hence online version ;p) should get somewhere at least. It'd be nice to get some idea of what I have and possibly even stop me from adding even more for a while ;p
