OMG Icons!

Yay, I have space for 17 new icons, yay :) But I don't know where to find lovely new icons, woe :/ Also, with screen more visible these days, can't really spend the day happily poking around for pretty pictures.

So, your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to find, rec, donate, or point me at shiny iconness. Not necessarily fannish ones, anything will do (tho I don't have any Sandman. Or Dr. Who for that matter...)!

Or, if anyone is feeling particularly creative, make me one! Call it an early birthday present (I likes presents ;p).

i'm back at season one now (having got hold of all the dvds but in the wrong order). and, heh HEH! ray v's shirts! gotta love the original flavour ray. also, season one fraser is illegally cute. his HAIR! the BROWN UNIFORM. which, as you can see, makes me go a bit funny

Yes. I miss original Ray, and having got to series 4 since February (heavy escapism needed!) I think the 'supporting' characters are a bit more caricature like in the later series.

i don't exactly miss him - well, i mean, i do, but i also have unhealthy levels of love for ray k and his sexy loser geek self. unhealthy levels. (see my recent lj entries for proof!). i swing both rays, as they say. *g*

S3 & 4 are a lot more focused on the ray/fraser partnership dynamic, i think. stuffs slashy bias under cushion out of sight. but there's still some good other-characters stuff: have you seen 'a likely story'? with the hypnotism? i love thatcher and frannie so much in that one.

I remember reading an interview with Paul Gross where he said that a lot of the homoerotic elements of series 4 were intentional, and watching it again I can see what they mean.

I loved 'a likely story'. I think it was one of the ones I saw over the weekend.

There's lots of LJ communities (the firefly icon-making challenge ones alone run to over 10, I think) if you have a specific fandom in mind. Otherwise try searching LJ interests and googling...
