You're all very quiet today *prods* specially for a Friday!

Tho it's quiet here too. Everyone at work has been very concerned about my Gay Sofa Halves *eyes

_unhurt_* and I have phoned the Sofa People to find out why the men did not come out to give one of them the required sex-change yesterday. Apparently 'someone was meant to' but... didn't bother. Or something. So someone is coming today after one. Allegedly.

I managed to be A Bit Cross down the phone, but it was hard to grumble too much at suddenly being given an excuse to go home at lunchtime on a Friday.

How is everyone else doing?

ETA hmm. 3pm and still no sign of Sofa Gender Re-alignment Man, who was supposed to be here 'after 1'. Another phonecall is required.

OTOH,

tiquetoque has, I think, won the 'comedy remarks about gay sofas' award with - Tique MyBreathAway tells you: you're the only person I know who paid for a sofa, but got a poof.

Although I've just amused my colleague with tales of your gay sofas. *grin*. I did spare her the details about the thesmejuuuice though... ;)

My poor gay sofas, part of me thinks they should be left as they are, but I am reliably informed that if I do, I'll come home to find half the corner one dancing to kylie with the 2 seater while the other half flounces off and paints the kitchen pink (did we miss any stereotypes there?).

I have to admit even at 8am it was very hard to keep a straight face when the sofa man kept going on about how I had 2 males and I really needed a male and a female or they'd never stay together ;p

Well, my colleague Jane says you should keep the camp seaters instead, and is now pondering getting a new sofa!

You missed out one of the sofas wearing leather chaps... ;)

All but they are all leather sofas so... they kinda are already ;p

It's deadly quiet, isn't it?

I'm in pain and consequently a bit grumpy and I am really looking forward to the weekend.

I have a lovely vice-like headache, which the neurofen is having no effect on, so I am somewhat surly myself (but also why I am quite pleased I have a good excuse to go home and collapse).

Once the sofas have had their genders realigned I am very much looking forward to an evening of sprawling on them with junk food and junk tv. And painkillers

That sounds like a wonderful evening. I might join you in that, though pain killers aren't touching this at the moment.

I may have to go dig out the Supar Painkillers, the neurofen aren't cutting it really. Or just a bottle of some form of alcohol.
Tho, alcohol, migraleve and hormones have proved a wonky combination before ;p

I'd opt for the combination therapy (pills & alcohol)!

Well, I have been out SHOPPING, and now I am at home having some LUNCH before I GLOAT over my purchases.

And I have TEH CUTEST sleepy-puss in the world sprawled out on the sofa next to me.

oooh ooh the GLOATING when you get home is possibly the best part of shopping sprees ;)

My sleepy puss has abandoned me for the sofa, which she seems very happy with!

Oh I do love the GLOATING and the trying on again and the more gloating.. :o)

Mine's just started snoring. :o)

How very prophetic... he arrived just as I'd posted that comment and we had to Move her and now she is sat at my feet WHINING.

Also SGRAM was rather disapproving about the whole cat-on-sofa thing, silly man.
