So, sadly I missed seeing the HOFF in person when he came to Belfast (even after a personal invite!), due to being far away in Canadia and all my designated HOFF MINIONS failed utterly in getting to see him.

HOWEVER! Luckily it turns out we have our very own homegrown Hoffalike, here in Belfast!

ZOMG 1. he has been seen on local new, running v. slowly down soem beach somewhere (am I very wrong to wish it was Helen's Bay?). Part of me goes ARRGGGH but part is cheering in joy at the fact that we now have proper crappy local news, with cats up trees and hoffalikes, instead of death, mayhem and riots.

ZOMG 2. HE made it to the hoff signing in Dublin *mutters darkly at hoffminions* for STEREO HOFF HORROR.

Heh yeah, he was in the papers here a while back, I may even have posted then, but his appearance on the radio one website has caused a wave of fresh horror here at work, and since my brain is thinking Deep Thunks over at B_H's and yours, I figured some mind-numbing WTF light relief was called for here ;)
