Meh. Meh meh meh stupid rainy wet November. Meh.

Which sums up how I felt this morning. HOWEVER things are not all bad. On the plus side...

1. The plumber is coming tonight, yay! Not quite sure how or where he'll fit in between horse/pilates/mulled wine, but I'm sure I'll manage. Principally by leaving work an hour early I reckon.

2. The horse is fix0red! Well mostly - the equine physio lady (more of a horse pokerer than whisperer) came on Tuesday and did the pokey stretchy massagey thing; said she had a very very stiff shoulder and worse hip, with lots of scar tissue, poor Zigs, but she should be fine. We have to do the leg lifty/shoulder rotatey things on her daily tho, which she is NOT impressed about at all (Ziggy that is, not the horse pokerer). She already looks much happier and will ride tomorrow and see how she feels.

3. Stuff ordered AGES ago (over a month) from Blackmarket Beagles has finally arrived! I had almost given up and WOULD have emailed cafe press about it, except I can't get into hotmail at all atm to get the email. But it's all here now, except I have to go to Tomb St and pick it up and pay customs on it. Damn Americans.

So. I want Reasons to be Cheerful from the rest of you! What's made your crappy november day a bit brighter?

Meant to reply to your post yesterday. I had similar WOE 10 years ago when we lived in Watford. We were on the top floor of a block of flats. When it rained we noticed a spot on our celing got dark. It got darker. And darker. We told the landlord 'I'll get someone round' he said. Darker, darker darker. Then a lump of the ceiling fell out one Saturday tea-time. The following Monday with one of our friends kipping on the couch, the entire ceiling came down. On top of Dave. It was like ground zero. He survived, we fleed to my parents, the landlord tried to sue us. Fortunately I started off doing a law degree so knew to take photographic evidence.

Ah, happy days.

Photoshopping reindeer made my day brighter actually.

Hehe that reindeer brightened up my day too!

Alas the perils of house ownership mean i have no landlord to blame this on and have to be GROWN UP and sort it out myself. WOE WOE WOE.

OTOH, I might get a nice new bathroom, since the current one is clearly fucked. And a horrible colour.

What colour? We had a dusky pink one, and an olive green one (both in the 80s).

Ooh we had that green at home for YEARS.

According to the estate agents it is 'champagne', which means it's a sort of yellowy beige...
