Hurrah for sunny fridays! And it's all quiet here, everyone is off to some lone worker safety meeting, leaving me, well, alone. Which possibly means I should be AT the meeting...

ANYWAY. Live in general is quiet, and I am lacking in inspiration for things to post about, and bored of memes. Since you are the ones that have to read this therefore, you can pick.
What would you like to read about today [1]?
To paraphrase Buffy (after watching One More With Feeling recently), give me something to write about!

Ah yes. Mandible Moments. Everyone has these - something on tv/film that you just KNOW is wrong and is so blatently wrong it makes you SCREAM at the screen. My sister gets it over chemical things. thesme_01 often gets it over Medical Predicaments.
For me, obviously it's mostly when they get Olden Days Things wrong, but my biggest bugbears are Skeletons That Stay Magically Somehow CONNECTED when there is NO CONNECTING TISSUE LEFT AND IT'S JUST ALL BONES AND THE LOWER JAW FALLS OFF *takes a deep breath*
Intact hands/feet annoy, also ribcages. Skulls are the worst tho. THE JAWS FALL OFF THERE IS NOTHING TO KEEP THEM ON.

This also extends to things off screen. Like the poor chubby Goth we encountered when out with friends of kyrptykfysh, who had a cane with a skull on top. With a lower jaw. He got a bit of a lecture. I may have been a bit drunk at the time.

Hmm. Interesting. Sleep possibly? Lurk certainly. Watch players doing teh netsex0r while invisible? Who knows WHAT liaisons get up in their own time (note, mud in-joke there)? Other than perhaps tiquetoque and i REALLY don't want to know what he gets up to in the dark...

Yes. There are few things as disconcerting, I discovered recently, as a room full of people chantning "Sniff the pony, SNIFF THE PONY" at you.
So I did, and it didn't really smell of strawberries as advertised.
Must find the photo of the Ponies Of Wrong for posting.
I did get some VERY special birthday presents...

Now that you've mentioned Buffy, I want to read about her. It. The series. I love that episode.

For a very long time, I thought this was a Buffy icon. It's only recently I've realised it's neither Buffy, nor BtVS. It's Faith on Angel.

Yay puppet angel!!! I think it's probably my fave too.

Maybe I should try creating a Buffy icon. Or maybe just nab one from somewhere. Or two, seeing as it turns out I now have two Angel and two Firefly. Obviously, there is a rule about two icons per Whedon. OTOH, I want to make another Firefly one. Oh the dilemma!

re: skulls with jawbones attached - I thought of you when watching "Bone Eater" (which I watched because I apparently HATE myself). It's a Sci Fi original! With lots of walking skeletons! And Bruce Boxleitner as 'White Man who's an Honorary Indian'! Urg.
