So today, the streets around work are lined with cones, half the car parks are closed, there are cops everywhere and just getting lunch required passing through a line up of many leather clad bike cops (so, ok, this part wasn't so bad?).

Why? Because 2 overpriviliged inbred sponging wastes of space and air are having lunch in the resturant next door. I haven't seen so many cops in one place since the height of riot season and there are helicopters too. So that's one expensive lunch coming out of my tax dollah.
Why, if they are so bloody loaded can't they pay for their own bloody security eh? And why does everyone feel the need to rush out to see them? OMG THEY SHOOK SOME HANDS. Well at the price we're paying for them to show up, they'd bloody need to.
Also, I seem to be channelling my mother's rabid anti-monarchism today. Normal service will be resumed asap.

ION... v. little. Friday night started off as a quiet couple of pints with _unhurt_ and somehow ended up in the middle of two rugby teams (one on tour here). Jolly good fun. With added cigars.
The rest of the weekend was mostly spend playing Zelda on the wii. Or trying to play and screaming at the screen in frustration when I COULDN'T CATCH A FISH. Or similar.

Ooh OOH Tho OOOH!!! Another Surprise Mystery Package arrived yesterday morning. As usually I was slightly worried (even the delivery guy remarked on it ;p), but it wasn't from Amazon and in a Big Box, so it seemed safe.
I opened it and LO! OMG! It contained that wonder of wonders, A CHOKLIT FOUNTAIN
OMG!

More packages liek that could go some way to curing my Mystery Package Phobia ;p

I think I'm mostly annoyed at huge fuss going around them and the scale of the operation just for them to have lunch and the fact that the cost of it won't come out of *their* well lined pockets...
