Currently the corgi man and the electrician are in there sorting out the gas hob, the oven and all the lights etc. Then its just waiting for the worktops and tiling...

Word of warning about the nice shiny kitchen:

My parents went for the black marble option too, which was installed about a week after the rest of the kitchen. The nice workmen decided to cut the marble to size *in the kitchen*. This caused two problems:

1) I was working overnights the week the did it, so no sleep for me.

2) We *still* (about a year later) find the odd thing in a cupboard that's covered in granite dust. That stuff gets everywhere.

Other than that, it looks good!

this lot apparently cut it off site, a guy came yesterday and made a template of it, so they bring it ready to put it!
