Not surprisingly, today is the Kitchen Is Almost Done! Which neatly allows me to move to the kitchen progres picspam demanded by [livejournal.com profile] thesme_01

[identity profile] hellison.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 02:59 pm (UTC)(link)
well, YES. FOR COOKING and COOKING RELATED ACTIVITIES

[identity profile] thipe.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know how _you_ cook, but I wouldn't call _that_ a cooking related activity

(hrm, unless there was whipped cream... or chocolate sauce...)

[identity profile] adelpha.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe having an orange just isn't enough any more. Maybe it needs to be cooked now. Or possibly lightly basted in natural juices.

[identity profile] adelpha.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] fabricati-diem.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Word of warning about the nice shiny kitchen:

My parents went for the black marble option too, which was installed about a week after the rest of the kitchen. The nice workmen decided to cut the marble to size *in the kitchen*. This caused two problems:

1) I was working overnights the week the did it, so no sleep for me.

2) We *still* (about a year later) find the odd thing in a cupboard that's covered in granite dust. That stuff gets everywhere.

Other than that, it looks good!

[identity profile] hellison.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
this lot apparently cut it off site, a guy came yesterday and made a template of it, so they bring it ready to put it!

Hopefully ;p

[identity profile] mollydot.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh... very pretty!

[identity profile] being-here.livejournal.com 2008-12-12 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
