Ho hum. Christmas Icon! Am not feeling full of the christmas spirit yet tho. Perhaps once I am full of the cider later at the xmas do I will...

Had planned to do last bits of shopping today but it is bloody awful weather out there. May make a run to the nearest shop of the rain stops. Need monies too, for the aforementioned cider.

Also turns out the place we are going for dinner has a new chef, so no repeat of the tasty vegetarian dinner I had last year, it's back to Something With Cheese on (WHY? WHY DO THEY COVER EVERYTHING IN CHEESE?).
They do nice chips tho ;p So that's ok!

Hmmm cider and chips. What else could you need? What are you lot up to this evening then?

(ps ANYONE who says ANYTHING along the lines of "oh lucky you, i have just sit at home in the dark in my own" will face WRATH. WRATH I tell ya.)

ha, my mother didn't even put cheese ON stuff when i was veggie - she just served LUMPS of cheese with my dinner.

Once having dinner round a friend's mammy's house I was given a roast dinner without the meat but with the gravy.

For the three/four years I was veggie my mother in law kept saying 'do you want a fry/ham sandwhich?' and 'Oh I forgot you're on that Special Diet'. Now I'm carnivore (for the past 4 years) she keeps saying 'oh you're a vegetarian aren't you?'

Kill, kill, kill.

Ooh, I had that when I visited my parents for Christmas a few years ago. I couldn't stand the taste of the gravy, which was a shame because I was really looking forward to the rest of it :(
